A Bit About Me

Anastasia Kovaleva is a pressed flower artist based in Wrocław, Poland. Anastasia enjoys working with natural materials while highlighting different amazing texture combinations. Her works emphasize small details of certain natural elements so each piece is exquisitely crafted with great love to materials. She uses pressed flowers, foliage, and many other materials that are found in woodlands, roadsides, and gardens of Poland.  She has been fascinated with botanical art since early childhood and attended Floral Design courses as an extracurricular activity all throughout her school years. She graduated from Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, Poland. She is a repeated winner of International Pressed Flower Art competitions in Japan, South Korea, and the USA.

The exhibition, part of the Ale Sztuka! project at the Agora Center of Culture, is a celebration of botanical art that explores the beauty and distinctive qualities of various plant species. However, it goes beyond aesthetics to shed light on the broader context of Earth's development and our relationship with the environment.

I was really excited to show my work and to see how people reacted to it. I was also really proud of myself for being able to create something that people loved and appreciated. The exhibition was a great success, and I'm so glad I was able to show my work to the world. This exhibition was a celebration of the beauty of nature through flower art.

My experience collaborating with the KBAA on a Chateau Elan project was extremely positive. I was so excited to work on a hotel project because I had a great chance to work with an amazing art advisory team and create beautiful and unique pieces of art for public space. KBAA is known for its vibrant and imaginative works of art that capture the essence of a place and its people. It was a great experience to learn about the different aspects of hotel design and how to best use the space to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Additionally, I was able to collaborate with the team to create a unique design that would be both aesthetically pleasing and practical. The project was a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow as an artist and designer.

My artworks at the Art Revolution Taipei (A.R.T.). One of my artwork is finalist of the competition.
A.R.T. is the International Artist Grand Prize Competition In Taiwan, the largest art competition in Asia. 388 works made their ways to the final this year.  All accepted entries will be exhibited for sale during Art Revolution Taipei 2021, from May 14 to 17, 2021.
